With her sumptuous dramatic coloratura soprano voice (spanning an impressive 3½ octave range), consummate musical artistry and enthralling stage presence, Olivia Whelan has built an impressive reputation as a unique, exciting and engaging artist within the world of opera.

Her latest album Casta Diva has received universal praise and been a featured album on radio stations in the UK and Australia.  She was recently invited to be the opera advisor for the international smash hit film Quartet starring Dame Maggie Smith, Billy Connolly and directed by Dustin Hoffman.  

She has won numerous awards and prizes including the Dame Eva Turner Singing Competition; Miriam Licette Award; Wingate Award as well as scholarships from the Peter Moores Foundation, Countess of Munster Trust, Sybil Tutton Trust, Ian Fleming Trust and RNCM

She was the UK representative and finalist at the Hans Gabor Belvedere International Singing Competition and Llangollen International Young Singer of the World Competition

Olivia is also passionate about sharing her extensive knowledge and experience and is an internationally respected award-winning singing teacher and vocal coach to singers and actors of all ages, ability and styles. Her students range from successful stars of the opera stage, West End & Broadway, pop and jazz through to talented amateurs who love to sing.  

She is regularly invited to give public masterclasses and also works with a range of celebrity personalities and business people within the TV and film industry to develop their voice production, communication skills and presenting abilities.
